Because all the shallow teenage girls think they're cute...it's a shhame that that is the way RTV is going..Why do teenagers who look like children always do well in tv competitions even though their rubbish?
This is a very old and well-known phenomenon. Children who are small for their age and look younger than they really are are often thought to be very bright and intelligent, and they tend to get better grades in school. The thought is that people look at them and think (maybe even subconscious) that they're younger than they really are. A fourteen year old who looks like nine seems very mature and intelligent for his 'age'.





I haven't seen much of Britain's Got Talent but it seems to me that in general Brits are obsessed with 'prodigies', young people with -some- talent. And reality shows are all the same, on either side of the pond, they stretch things out of proportion for drama and tension and conflict, and use fake, nonsensical stuff as filler. Britain's Got Talent is represented as a talent contest, but it's not that at all, it's more like a fake soap-opera-like 'mockumentary' about a talent contest. If it was JUST a talent contest, the show would only be about ten minutes long!

And it's because old people think they're sweet, most women see them and get all maternal and teenage girls fancy them. Those are the three highest categories of people who watch those kind of programs.





I don't know who those people are though so can't pass judgement on their talent. Don't watch that sort of thing...
I detest Eggnog and Georgie. So much better singers in the competition and I wanted Signature to win, those guys were much better dancers!
