You lucky thing, you. Truth is, if they're the type of teenagers who are -willing- to talk to you (I assume you're -not- a teenager?), you should probably consider yourself flattered. Seriously, I think I'd try to engage them in conversation. You might be surprised what they have to say if you talk about subjects you might think they're too immature to be concerned with. A lot of teenagers are more grown up inside than a lot of adults. But then, too, they may just be ';teenagers'; and be every bit as immature as teenagers have every right to be. In that case, there's nothing _you_ will be able to think of to entertain them. In that case, I'd ask -them- what they might like me to bring along. You likely won't get any response, but at least then you can blame - them - if they end up being bored. ;-) A volleyball net would probably be a good idea, a huge beach ball or three, maybe some sand-playing stuff (buckets, scoops, etc...). Try to get them to make sand sculptures - castles, naked mermaids (if you think they're mature enough - treat it from -your- perspective as ';art';, even if they don't), etc.... Maybe go on a little scavenger hunt up %26amp; down the beach looking for things like shells, shark's teeth, etc... but call it a ';beach corpse hunt'; - like one of the things you're trying to see if anyone can find is a body washed up on shore. Hopefully you won't find such a thing, but they'll probably think it's ';cool'; to even -consider- the notion.

The best thing is to remember what it was like for you and your peers when you were a teenager, and realize that nothing - I mean NOTHING - you do is going to impress them. Good luck!
i go to the beach alot
id say condoms but thatd be immature, but if its a BEACH trip why do you need things like dvd players, its a BEACH.
Well whatever you do they will talk your head off. Sorry.
Talk to them or tell them to text and/or get on the internet on their phones. Tell them to buy some movies or tell them to go to sleep!
Headphones with Chopin.... and Prozac.[for you]. For them? Ask. It's been too long since my kids were that age .
Get over it. If you are their paren't then to should be glad that they will talk and be open. If you arent then you need to the glad that they trust you enough to be that open with you around.

Teens being able to talk is the number one factor in preventing things like unprotected sex, teen pregnancy, sex in general, drug use and general stuff parents and others that care about them know is bad for them.

Act like an adult.
