Do American teenagers learn about politics in other countries?

Bias indoctrination doesn't count.Do American teenagers learn about politics in other countries?
It depends on what kind of education they are getting. Saying that they will only learn things in private school is stupid, because I had an excellent public education. Putting even more emphasis on reading, 'ritin, and 'rithmatic, as the previous poster alluded, won't do a spit of good. That's all we get to teach anyway, and now we don't get to talk about geography, politics, music, or anything else that is important enough to read or write about.Do American teenagers learn about politics in other countries?
Nope, most do not even learn about the US political syatem.

Plus, why would an american need to learn about politics in any country, other than the US, Russia and China ?

We do not have time, to learn about politics in all the small countries like canada, congo, britian, germany, Costa Rica , france, etc.
Americas education system is dysfunctional, half the U.S. population is illiterate. To expect them to learn about politics, here or there, is expecting too much.

Schools need to put more emphasis or reading, writing and arithmetic. If they can accomplish that then move on to more advanced subjects.
They dont learn much in public school. In private school we covered that stuff.
Sadly, no.
~ Yes, some do.
