Many people say that teenagers have no problems and dont worry but its not true teenagers have loads of things on their shoulders like friends,grades,relationships,family worries,money worries etc is this not what all teens go through ?Just me or is this what all teenagers go through?
Teenagers do have lots of things to worry about - especially because it's a growing stage, and you're just entering into a new part of life.
I think that everyone likes to think that other people have less reason to worry or be stressed than them, so that they can feel more important. So adults play down the stresses of teenagers, teenagers play down the stresses of children (why are they so unhappy? they have no idea..!).
Now, do you understand being responsible for supporting a family? Of course not. That doesn't make your worries any less real, or any smaller FOR YOU.
So, objectively speaking, the stresses of an adult might be bigger, but I think that the stresses of teenagers, FOR teenagers, are just as big as the stresses of adults for adults.Just me or is this what all teenagers go through?
Of course teenagers have problems! Who in the world thinks you have no problems? They may seem small to someone else but they are big to you! I have two teenage boys of my own 18 and 15. I have to say they are not followers but they are not leaders except when it comes to doing the right thing. Doing the right thing is not easy in a teenager's life. If there is divorce in the family (which is the case for our family) this is a major concern. If all teenagers could feel confident enough to talk to their parents or a close relative or teacher it would be great. Some one with teenage children of their own or have been through this as a teenager. Express what is bothering/upsetting you. A lot of times my 15 yr old son will come in and I know something is wrong. We have talked many many times. Most of the time he says he doesn't want to talk about. I leave his room and then eventually he does talk to me about what is going on. Now, I have told him I would never lie to him. He may not always like the truth from me and you may not from your parents but it is best to seek guidance from someone that loves you more than life its self. Be open and honest about money, family worries, grades and stop carrying around the burden by yourself. You have so much more things to put your time and effort into than concerns with no answers honey! God Bless!
Yes i think that all teens do go through it and it is hard, im 17 so i have those same worries to but i think that adults don't think about that because they have to go out to work and a family to support etc so don't think that teens have problems of thier own aswell just because they have problems which are more in thier age range so don't worry it's completely normal :)
They do worry about those things,now add the burden of supporting yourself and a full time job,the drama that goes with that plus all the other stuff you mentioned and maybe even raising a family to boot, then you'll understand why your teen yrs are your golden yrs.
I know!!! All adults think that we have the perfect life when we don't. We have problems with friends and our social life. On top of that, teachers pile homework on us. I'm up until 1am doing hw every night;
ye thats the same with me as well... adults say that being a teen is easy. they dont understand, do they? i have all those problems as well, but adults just dont appreciate that.
The bad news is: yes, you all go through it.
The good news is: you come through it.
ye every teenager worries i can tell you that definitely with exams and that
i know i am having more troubles right now then most adults i know. i think all teenagers go thru it..
Yes teens do go through all that. I am right now
yep ;)
