How to stop teenagers from committing crimes?

How can the problem be solvedHow to stop teenagers from committing crimes?
Make sure that there are activities and stuff for them to do in their local community, such as bowling, movie theaters, etc. One of the reasons why teenagers commit crimes is because they are bored.How to stop teenagers from committing crimes?
I find boarding schools in other countries, or military schools to be very effective.


Actually kids today are bored and have way too much time on their hands. They need to be kept busy.
Stop breeding. As long as teenagers exist so will the crimes, always has and always will.
The best solution is to spread awareness among the youth!!! The juvenile...infact teenagers in general need to be given proper counselling at the right age(12years) by parents, relatives, teachers and genuine friends!
For ONE thing it would be nice if kids had places to go and socialize


Nowadays there are so many restrictions, not allowed to go here or there do this or that. Can't ride your bike or skateboard on that sidewalk, don't swim in the pond, don't climb tree you might fall out.


All kids have to do is play video games and stuff like that and then they end up bored.


I think that is just one of many of the more obvious things why kids commit crimes.


No parental supervision, following the crowd and so forth are two of the more obvious
Can't stop teenagers or anyone from committing a crime!


The trouble with teenagers, they know if they are under age, the law won't do much to them!
They need to be more in control of their parents unless their parents are even worst.





Then there is no Solution to this..... the government can imply bans and life in prison punishments.... it should reduce the number of crimes but i doubt that it will stop crimes.
Stop the errosion of the American family.
One word. Youthanization. This is the idea that tight wod adults should loosen up. Because most serial killers I have seen are old men.
Several ideas come to mind. First, is ';dad/father'; involved in their lives? Dads must stay active in their lives and find common interests.





Next, give the kids musical instruments. When my teenage friends were partying and doing drugs, I was playing electric guitar. It damaged my hearing but it kept me off the streets! LOL!
Parenting classes for their parents.
You have to start when they're very little and teach them right from wrong as well as the fact that there are consequences for certain actions. You do wrong, you get punished.





Don't just say, naughty, and let them go on their merry way.
Well, we could institute a specialized nanny 911 that centers upon teenagers.





The problem as I see it is that too many parents are trying to be their kid's friends rather than parents. Spoiled brats grow up to be criminals.
Realistically - the problem will never be solved, but we can limit a lot of crimes simply by not tolerating them at all!





We have crime in this country because we tolerate it!





Other countries do not have as much crime as we do because they do not tolerate crime!

Children do has children see, they are a product of their environment.

It would help if they had decent parents.
What kind of crimes....When I was a 10 in a little town in Iowa my sister and I got caught shoplifting...they called my grandmother..who they knew...and we got our butts paddled...Now a kid doing that would be arrested..put in the court system...


When I was 14 my sister and I took grandpa's car for a drive...ended up in a ditch..the police drove us home and we got our butts paddled...Now a kid would end up on probation for years treated like a criminal...


my sister and I grew up fine..had good families...college educated..


Give the kid a break.........
This is an ongoing problem in all departments, it is becoming so common and there is nothing really that can be done. Stiffer penalties are nothing as most of the teens friends would be in jail, thus making it appealing for them to go. Peer pressure is worse than anything the law can do im afraid!
You can't solve it, teenagers will always do what is not allowed.


But if you are talking serious crime, and not petty crimes. then you will need strong role models, good activities, ending gangs by providing a good alternative, and many police around as a deterrent
This problem can be solved by placing teenagers in an upside down position by their ankles so that they can be controlled until they reach legal age and then it will no longer be blamed on their parents when they make their decisions that result in criminal behavior. Sometimes it doesn't matter what you do in regards to those who, by their brain chemistry and less-developed cognitive capacity ( which results from learning thgrough experience in the growth process ) , they will still do what they will do. Sometimes prayer can save us from the insanity we inflict on ourselves as we obseve our kids doing those things that , for the most part, we all did to some extent, and hope that they, too, will come to the realization that honesty ISthe best policy and that scially acceptable behavior providesus with a better quality of freedom.
